The Brain Workout Academy is growing! We design and deliver playful, hands-on STEM learning experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and help students realize “STEM is for me.” We are looking for enthusiastic educators who love working with kids and who believe learning should feel like discovery, joy, and teamwork.

About the Role
In this role, you will deliver our engaging STEM lessons to elementary and middle school students during after-school hours at schools and community sites throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties. Typical program hours are between 2:45 PM and 5:30 PM, with optional morning sessions available during summer.

What You’ll Do

Facilitate fun, hands-on STEM learning experiences for K–8 students using our ready-to-go curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture where every child feels seen and successful.
Use your own laptop to present lesson slides and guide activities.
Travel to school and community sites using your own vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed.
Participate in paid training and ongoing support.
Take photos of student engagement (with site permission).
Keep and use materials as required by our curriculum.
Record student attendance.

Who You Are

Love working with kids and believe learning should be playful, active, and joyful.
Have Bachelor’s degree in STEM, education, or related field (or comparable experience).
Have experience teaching or leading groups of children.
Warm, outgoing, and great at building rapport quickly.
Patient, reflective, and committed to equitable learning environments.
Skilled in facilitating group activities and managing behavior positively.
Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint.
Comfortable leading a room of up to 25 students.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal car.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Available between 2:45 PM–5:30 PM on school days.
Must complete a Level II background check.
Background check fees are paid by the instructor and will be reimbursed after delivering seven (7) sessions.
